All Attractions, Accommodations & Events:

1. Must include description (limited to 100 words), telephone number and address for any property.
2. Must be a legally operating and tax-paying (if applicable) business.
3. Must be located within the borders of the Eastern Region and have an Eastern Region site or mailing address.
4. Must be reasonably clean and meet state Department of Health guidelines, if applicable.
5. Cannot promote nudity, drunkenness or lewd behavior.
6. Must be open to the general public.
7. Must be of interest to the general public.
8. All publicly sponsored and owned parks, markets and other facilities are automatically eligible for inclusion.
9. All county, city and town tourism offices, chambers and visitors bureaus in NC are automatically eligible for inclusion.
10. Cannot have religious or political affiliations.

Events must:

1. Be related to tourism and draw attendance from at least 30 miles away. (Events such as Chamber of Commerce banquets, localized after hours concerts and happy hour events, dance recitals, charity walks, etc., are not suitable for this website as they tend to be extremely localized in nature for attendance).
2. Take place in the Eastern Region.
3. List specific dates and have contact information included.
